Anum Fatima is a policy and research professional whose expertise lies in qualitative research, implementation science, and the translation of empirical field evidence into actionable education policy. She plays a critical role in bridging the gap between academic research and system-level reform through the development of in-depth qualitative diagnostics, process mapping reports, and policy guidebooks designed to facilitate effective scale-up strategies in low-resource environments. She works as an Associate in the Policy Advisory vertical at CERP. During her tenure at CERP, Anum successfully managed the execution of Targeted Instruction in Pakistan (TIP) Phase I across 60 public schools in Balochistan, impacting over 20,000 students. She is currently working for a multi-region education scoping initiative under a 3-year Marshall Foundation project spanning Gilgit-Baltistan, ICT, Punjab, and Balochistan. Beyond her technical contributions, she drives institutional growth and business development by leading competitive bidding processes and grant writing for global development partners such as UNICEF, UNDP, the World Bank, and the What Works Hub for Global Education. Anum holds an MSc in Management of Innovation with Distinction from Goldsmiths, University of London, where she was a recipient of the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). She earned her BS (Honours) in Finance and Accounting from the Lahore School of Economics, graduating on the Dean’s List, and was selected for the U.S. Department of State’s Global UGRAD Exchange Program. Her professional background includes international financial consulting, the management of a £87,000 sustainability project in London, and collaborating with the State Bank of Pakistan to deliver financial literacy programmes to over 1,000 youth.
