Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methodologies, M&E Boot Camp 2021

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Boot Camp is a series of three online courses offered by the CERP Executive Education. The second course in the series, Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methodologies, took place 25-27 May, 2021. The course content covered the smart use of descriptive evidence, sampling, power calculations, data cleaning and analysis, as well as elements of qualitative research; how to code qualitative research, how to conduct interviews and focus groups, and the ethics of in-field research. The faculty included Dr. Farah Said, Stephan Klasen Research Fellow at the University of Goettingen; Assistant Professor and Research Fellow at the Lahore School of Economics, Dr. Minahil Asim, Postdoctoral Fellow in Education at the University of Toronto, and Izza Tahir, PhD candidate in Educational Leadership and Policy at OISE, University of Toronto. The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Boot Camp is a series of three online courses including Monitoring and Evaluation (March 29 – April 4, 2021), Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methodologies (May 25-27, 2021), and now the upcoming Project Management (June 15-16, 2021).
