Zoha Waqar Farooqi

Program Manager, Infant Feeding & Health Research Lead
Zoha Waqar Farooqi is Portfolio Lead on Health Research and Program Manager for the Infant Feeding Project at the Center for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP).

As a Portfolio Lead, Zoha spearheads research initiatives, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement with local and international partners. Her work is focused on harnessing evidence-based research to inform policy and programmatic decisions, ultimately improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations.

Her work on the Infant Feeding project focuses on enhancing breastfeeding literacy among community health workers in rural Punjab through digital tools, in collaboration with the Punjab Health Department. Zoha has contributed to several projects led by the Global Fund, Gavi, WHO and UNICEF involving community health workers in Pakistan. She previously worked at the Center for Policy Impact in Global Health and DevLab at Duke University. Zoha holds an MSc in Global Health and a Certificate in International Development and Policy from Duke University, and a BSc in Economics and Mathematics from LUMS.
