Hammad Ahmed Ghumman is a retired Major with 24 years of service in the Pakistan Army. He was commissioned on 8 September 1988 after successfully completing two years of training at the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul, and retired on 31 October 2012.

During his military career, he served in various regions across the country, undertaking responsibilities related to administration and security. He was also involved in internal security duties and participated in anti-terrorism operations in the Bajaur Agency.

After retirement, he worked for five years as a Security Officer at MONSANTO, a US-based multinational, and later served for three years as a Security and Administration Officer at the Army Public School (APS).
