A workshop to discuss research collaboration with the Punjab Police was conducted by CERP at LUMS on August 06, 2019. It was co-hosted by CERP, DIG Information Technology – Punjab Police, Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD) at Harvard Kennedy School, and the Mahbub ul Haq Research Center at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
Local and international researchers along with key Punjab Police officials came together to discuss and formulate the research focus and agenda of this alliance. Placing evidence at the heart of policymaking, it was proposed to calibrate, improve and design the current and future services of the Punjab Police based on evidence generated through rigorous evaluation of its services.
